North Georgia Tech is tile oldest technical college in the State of Georgia , and the community cherishes the rich history and heritage that has developed through the years. Students receive invaluable training in employability skills and hands-on experience with high-tech equipment.
NGTC is constantly reviewing and raising its standards and has been awarded accreditation by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS/COC). NGTC has recently signed articulation agreements with several local colleges including Toccoa Falls College and Emmanuel College. These agreements pave the way for students to transfer program credits from one institution to another or to get a jump start on an academic history. With the broad range of programs, it is even possible for someone to complete an entire certificate in less than a year.
North Georgia Technical College is a public, two-year technical college whose mission is to provide technical education, adult literacy education, continuing education, and business and industry training.
