Assistant Athletic/Program Coordinator

Job Opening

Stephens County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications for the position of an Assistant Athletic/Program Coordinator.

The purpose of this position is to help develop, plan, schedule and implement a variety of sports activities and programs that will meet the customer needs of a diverse population.  Also, manage recreation programs and special events, help develop, create and promote programs for the Stephens County Recreation Department.

This position will assist with budget preparation and monitoring expenditures, supervising daily activities and recruiting, training and scheduling of volunteers.

Minimum Qualifications for this position include a bachelor's degree in Physical Education, recreation or a related field of study with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in planning and coordinating recreation/sports programs or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for this position.

Applicant must possess and maintain certification from the Georgia Recreation and Park Association and a valid driver's license.
