Child Support Calculator

The Georgia Child Support Commission, in conjunction with the Office of Child Support Services (OCSS), has implemented an Excel version of the Georgia Child Support Calculator. The Excel version has been enhanced  to accommodate changes in the Child Support Guidelines be effective Sept. 1, 2009.

The web-based version of the calculator (guided and unguided) will not contain the enhancements necessary to be in compliance with the new Guidelines and will no longer be available for saving NEW worksheets initiated as of that date. All worksheets saved on or before June 1, 2009 will be available to the public for retrieval, revision and submission to the court.

The most current versions of the downloadable Excel Calculators, 7.1, electronic and paper/pen versions are now available for download and use. The Excel Calculators are updated as design changes or enhancements are completed. You should periodically visit this site to check for an updated version of the Excel Calculators to download.

To access Georgia’s Excel Child Support Calculators, click the calculator at right for the Downloadable Excel Calculators. The applications will run using Microsoft Excel 1997 or later (including 2003 and 2007), and Microsoft Excel 2004 for the Mac. After clicking the link, another web page will display where you can download the Excel calculators of your choice by clicking one of the four flags.

The first two flags (green and yellow) will download the two electronic versions of the Excel Calculators; while the last two flags (orange and purple) will download the Paper and Pen versions (standard Worksheet and Schedule forms and the new EZ short form) of the calculators. You simply have to make a choice about which calculator you want to use.

The two downloadable electronic calculators are Microsoft Excel files that include built-in formulas for calculations and printable forms. All of these calculators are accessed via the Internet for download and have to be saved to a hard drive, jump or thumb drive, disk or CD-ROM where they can later be transported to another computer, if necessary.
