Born and raised in Stephens County, Anita Pulliam graduated from Stephens County High School in 1980. She is the Office Assistant for the Stephens County Board of Commissioners and works closely with the Finance Director on many projects. She currently holds a Level I and Level II Local Finance Officer Certification through the Carl Vinson Institute of Government/University of Georgia. She received this honor in the Spring of 2010.

As the Office Assistant for Stephens County, there are numerous jobs that are done each day. The daily duties of this job include but are not limited to:

  • Bank Reconciliations

  • Payroll Reconciliations

  • General Ledger Journal Entries

  • Budget Preparations

  • Daily Deposits

  • Data Entry

  • Switchboard

  • Purchasing for all departments, countywide

  • Invoice Processing

  • Maintaining the County website
