A native of Stephens County and an honors graduate of Stephens County High School, Ayers holds membership in the Institute of Management Accountants, Georgia Government Finance Officers Association and the Government Finance Officers Association. Along with those memberships, Ayers is a Level I and Level II Certified Local Government Finance Officer, a Georgia Certified Management Accountant and an ACCG Certified County Official. She earned her bachelor of business administration degree from the University of Georgia as well as attending the Georgia Academy for Economic Development.
